I love the sea. What could be better than living on the Bjäre Peninsula, which is surrounded by sea from all sides. About 10 years ago I was completely impressed by the Båstad kitesurfers who were out as soon as the wind blew. I want that too, I thought, but do I dare? Am I too old? I finally plucked up the courage and signed up for a kitesurfing course when I was 55 years old. I have never regretted that.

My whole life changed direction because I completely fell in love with kitesurfing.

I want to convey that to others, so I started Båstad Kite School in 2020 and have had many satisfied students since then. Sometimes the wind is calm and then we go out on a SUP safari or do yoga on the board.

Around our peninsula there is sea and if the wind is northwest, north or northeast, Malenstranden is absolutely perfect for kitesurfing. The waves can be up to 3 m there. Impressive!

I have kitesurfed in many places in the world but Malenstranden is the best!

There are nice kitespots all around our peninsula, Ängelsbäckstrand, Torekov, Malenstranden, the beach outside Hotel Riviera, Mellanvägen in Hemmeslöv.

We kitesurf all year round, with the right equipment you won't freeze.
